This is where I start. It is winter in Vermont. Mid February and everything is covered in snow. My Stewartia pseudocamellia is three feet deep in snow, but absolutely covered in buds. The Miscanthus below is normally three feet tall, but you can see its seed heads just barely poke through the snow. My rhododendron looks like it is sinking in quicksand. But I leave in one week for England to volunteer and work at the Hidcote Manor Gardens in the Northern Cotswolds. Hoping to start this blog in order to record and share everything I learn.
