Euphorbia myrsinites

This charming plant deserves its very own posting. It belongs to the enormous genus of Euphorbia which includes such plants as the traditional holiday poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima), common garden spurge (Euphorbia cyparissias), and quite a few species of cactus look-alike plants, such as Euphorbia neriifolia. Euphorbia myrsinites is evergreen and blooms in the spring. Above it is pictured with the illustrious Sedum 'Angelina' in my garden and below it is pictured at Hidcote in the Alpine Terrace in full bloom.
